Nexis Uni 

Nexis Uni provides select federal and state trial documents including briefs, pleadings, motions, and court transcripts. To locate court documents on Nexis Uni, select "All Available Dates" on the home page and "Content Types" ⇒ "Legal" ⇒ "Briefs, Pleadings, and Motions."

 

ProQuest Supreme Court Insight 

Supreme Court Insight provides oral arguments, joint appendices, and select briefs with coverage beginning in 1933.

Justia Dockets & Filings 

Justia's Dockets & Filings page provides limited federal court filings from the U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals with coverage beginning in 2004. 

 

U.S Supreme Court Dockets  

The U.S. Supreme Court's Dockets page provides court filings with coverage beginning in 2001. The website also provides oral argument transcripts and oral argument audio recordings here.

 

Legal Information Institute 

Cornell Legal Information Institute's State Jurisdiction page provides links to official judiciary websites from all 50 states that may provide limited court documents such as briefs. Select a state and then browse for judicial website information under "Judiciary."  

 

West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals

The West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals provides limited court documents such as briefs and trial court orders. Select your case by date on the calendar and browse accompanying court documents.
