Visiting from Off-Campus?

From off-campus locations, you will be prompted to enter a username and password when you select a resource.

Username = WVU username (usually the same as the MIX username).

Password = WVU password

Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources. Plugins for Word and Google Docs help you quickly insert footnotes or in-text citations.
EndNote Basic This link opens in a new window
Use EndNote Web to create a personal database of references to articles, books and other research sources - create an account to begin. You must be on campus or connected to the campus network through VPN to create an account.You must also connect to the campus computer network either in-person or through VPN every 12 months to renew the cookie that authorizes your access to EndNote Web.

Unfortunately, the WVU Libraries can't buy everything. If you find an item we don't own, you can use the services below to request a copy from another library for free!

Borrowing from Other Libraries
Covers WVU policies for borrowing through ILLiad and EZ Borrow and requestable material types.
Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
ILLiad is used to request materials not owned by the WVU Libraries. Log in with your WVU ID and Password. First-time users will need to answer a few questions before requesting.
