Government Documents @ WVU

The Federal Depository Library Program or FDLP was created by Congress to ensure that all Americans have access to published government information.

The WVU Libraries have been the Federal Depository for the state of West Virginia since 1882. It also has been a depository for state publications since 1996. We are committed to providing free public access to government information to WVU faculty, staff, and students, as well as citizens of West Virginia. For assistance in accessing government documents, contact Matt Steele, Government Documents Librarian and Regional Coordinator, matthew.steele1@mail.wvu.edu, (304) 293 4240 or ask for help at the Service Desk on the first floor.

All of these collections are freely available to students, faculty, and local and visiting members of the community. As a depository library we welcome visitors and researchers. Our collection is accessible during operational hours, and a staff person will be there to help you.
