Prep to Practice 2025
The Center for Career Services and Professional Development and the College of Law Library will present a Prepare to Practice program in two sessions on March 24 and March 31, 2025.
Prepare to Practice is a program that builds on basic research skills covered in the Introduction to Legal Research course and prepares students for summer employment in firms, public interest organizations, or government. The Center for Career Services and Professional Development will discuss the "unwritten rules" for making sure to leave a good impression on your new employer as well as how to receive feedback in the workplace using a growth mindset. Various legal research topics will be covered in short 15-minute segments, presented by Professors Miller and Stump.
