Two significant language corpora, the Michigan Corpus of Spoken Academic English (MICASE), and the Michigan Corpus of Upper-Level Student Papers (MICUSP) were developed at the English Language Institute and are freely accessible through The Michigan Corpora. Teachers and researchers across the world use these historically important collections of language for linguistic analysis, classroom activities, and materials development. This collection will be useful to those who wish to use student writing samples for their research.

Association of College and Research Libraries' Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education (Framework) grows out of a belief that information literacy as an educational reform movement will realize its potential only through a richer, more complex set of core ideas. The dynamic and often uncertain information ecosystem in which all of us work and live require new attention to be focused on foundational ideas about that ecosystem.
The Framework offered here is called a framework intentionally because it is based on a cluster of interconnected core concepts, with flexible options for implementation, rather than on a set of standards or learning outcomes, or any prescriptive enumeration of skills. It consists of threshold concepts, knowledge practices, and dispositions that mark the transition into information literacy.
The Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education (originally approved in 2000) were rescinded by the ACRL Board of Directors on June 25, 2016, at the 2016 ALA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, which means they are no longer in force.
The Standards consist of measurable information literacy learning outcomes and standards; they are useful for writing learning objectives.

PRIMO (Peer Reviewed Instructional Materials Online) - PRIMO is a means to promote and share peer-reviewed instructional materials created by librarians to teach people about discovering, accessing and evaluating information in networked environments. The Committee hopes that publicizing selective, high quality resources will help librarians to respond to the educational challenges posed by still emerging digital technologies.
