Direct access to WSJ.com was previously provided by Chambers College, and discontinued in the summer of 2024.
Wall Street Journal content is still available through Factiva, and ProQuest. Both sources are available to all WVU students, faculty, and staff with a valid WVU login. If you are accessing them from off campus, you will be prompted for the standard login screen seen with other databases. No other account is required. Both databases provide both current and historical full text access. However, they may not be as up to date as WSJ.com in some instances, such as breaking news.
Factiva - Can be utilized for both browsing, and in depth searching. In the default Factiva interface (pictured below), you can select the WSJ as a source, and then search as needed in the top box.

Alternatively, you can use the "Switch Factiva" button, shown with the arrow at the top of the page, to switch to a newer interface. In this new, interface (pictured below), you can select from a number of different news sources, select a specific date, then click the "view source page" button to see daily publications.

The daily publication view (pictured below) contains all the headlines for the day, trending topics, and an interactive breakdown of coverage areas. More traditional text searching is still available at the top of the page as well.

ProQuest - ProQuest Newspapers also provides access to the WSJ, with coverage from 2010 to present. It utilizes a more traditional database interface, and allows for plain text viewing of articles. A cropped view of the main screen for it is pictured below.
