Refinitiv Workspace

Refinitiv Workspace (also known as Refinitiv Eikon) is a platform that features market trends, company financial and deals data, private equity and venture capital, breaking news, and After Market Research reports by leading analysts and firms. Refinitiv Workspace / Refinitiv Eikon replaces Thomson One.

Self-Registration

Existing users can access Refinitiv by visiting: workspace.refinitiv.com/web . 

New users should self- register for an account by visiting https://my.refinitiv.com/productregistration.html . 

Step 1: Register for an account and verify your email

In the self-registration portal, request an account using your WVU email address. Upon entering your @mix or @mail email address, you will receive a verification email from Refinitiv thanking you for initiating the Self-Registration process. Click on the link in the email to verify your account and continue with the self-registration process.

Step 2: Complete the self-registration

Product registration differs by user type: students and faculty/staff.

For students:

Complete the self-registration user details by providing your name and reference (undergraduate student, graduate student, etc.). For the product, select WORKSPACE FOR STUDENTS. To access the After Market Research content (analyst reports), select AMR FOR STUDENTS - USER LEVEL.

 

For faculty/staff: 

Complete the self-registration user details by providing your name and reference (faculty, staff, etc.) For the product, select WORKSPACE FOR STUDENTS. To access the After Market Research content (analyst reports), select AMR FOR ACADEMIC STAFF - USER LEVEL. 

 

Policy: 

Student accounts in Refinitiv will be active for one academic year, i.e., Fall 2021 through Spring 2022 due to the limited number of licenses available. If you need to reactivate your account at a later date you can submit another account request. Student accounts will not be available during the summer unless students are enrolled in summer courses.
