Landscape Architecture: Home

Getting Started

Welcome to the Landscape Architecture research guide. This guide was created to help you find information pertaining to such areas as landscape design, site planning, environmental restoration, stormwater management, and much more.

If you have questions while working on your assignments, I or any of the librarians at the Evansdale Library can work with you to find the right resources and data you need. My contact information is provided to the right.

The guide is divided into several tabs:

Find landscape architecture-related journals and databases for browsing or targeted searching.

Find relevant LC subject headings and recent landscape architecture-related books.

Find subject-specific dictionaries and encyclopedia for definitions and other fast facts.

Find relevant images of landscape architecture and design, as well as images of art and the built environment.

Find relevant government documents.

The Pruitt-Igoe Myth

The Student Society of Landscape Architects visited the site of the Pruitt-Igoe project in September 2011. Here is a video about the project that is part of Evansdale Library's collection.
