How to Prepare for a Poster Session

This guide provides information to help you become prepared for a successful poster session.

Archiving Your Poster

After you have presented your work, consider archiving your poster in the Research Repository @ WVU, an open access digital repository for the collection, management, preservation, and dissemination of intellectual works produced at West Virginia University. Depositing your poster gives your research a permanent place in the scholarly record and allows others to discover and cite your work.

To submit your poster, visit the Research Repository's submission page and select the appropriate collection for your status (Faculty, Graduate Student, or Undergraduate Student). On the next page, Log in with your WVU ID, accept the submission agreement, and fill out the form to submit your work. Undergraduate students are required to submit a Faculty Sponsorship Form when depositing materials. This form must be signed by a WVU faculty member before the work will be made available in the repository.
