Getting Started

Welcome to the Agronomy research guide. This guide was created to help you find information pertaining to such areas as plant physiology and growth, agroecosystems, cropping systems, soil profiles and soil fertility, tillage and crop establishment, weeds, plant diseases, insect and pest control, and more.

If you have questions while working on your assignments, I or any of the librarians at the Evansdale Library can work with you to find the right resources and data you need. My contact information is provided to the right.

The guide is divided into several tabs:

Find agronomy-related journals and databases for browsing or targeted searching.

Find relevant LC subject headings and recent agronomy-related books.

Find subject-specific dictionaries and encyclopedia for definitions and other fast facts.

Find resources available from governmental and government-supported agencies.

Includes a short list of (inter)governmental  and non-profit research institutes and consortia.
