Strike a Pose: Madonna's Most Famous Troupe of Dancers (2016) 1:28

In 1990, seven young male dancers - 6 gay, 1 straight - joined Madonna on her most controversial tour. On stage and in the iconic film Truth or Dare, they showed the world how to express yourself.

Positive Motion (1991) 36 minutes

Follows a unique HIV/AIDS dance group in San Francisco led by pioneering dancer Anna Halprin. A group of men with AIDS or HIV-infection use their condition as a resource for creative expression. The video is a collage of seven months of the group's emotionally-charged workshops, culminating in a poignant performance of a work titled "Carry Me Home."

A pre-Madonna primer that raises questions about race, sex and subcultural style, Voguing: The Message traces the roots of this gay Black and Latino dance form, which appropriates and plays with poses and images from mainstream fashion.

United in Anger: A History of ACT UP: The Grassroots Movement to End the AIDS Crisis (2012) 1:33

Takes the viewer through the planning and execution of a half dozen exhilarating major actions including Seize Control of the FDA, Stop the Church, and Day of Desperation, with a timeline of many of the other actions that forced the U.S. government and mainstream media to deal with the AIDS crisis.
