Open Education Resources: WVU College of Law

A guide for law faculty authorship and course adoption of Open Education Resources ("OER") at the WVU College of Law.

The following resources support law faculty OER authorship in providing legal-specific content. Included are legal resources in the OER Commons, Teaching Commons, MERLOT, and the Open Textbook Library.

OER Commons: Law

OER Commons constitutes a digital library of open education resources. Users can access content, collaborate with other educators, and create materials through the "Open Author" platform. 

Teaching Commons: Law

Teaching Commons provides open education resources users can adopt or share. The Teaching Commons is hosted by bepress and is curated by staff at participating universities and colleges. 

MERLOT Materials: Law

MERLOT is hosted by the California State University System. Users can access content and create materials through the "Content Builder" platform. 

Open Textbook Library: Law

Open Textbook Library provides peer-reviewed OER textbooks in the higher education context.
