Reusing a box on your guide

By choosing the reuse a box option, you will not be able to add any additional content into the box on your guide. If you would like to add additional content, consult the Reusing a Widget on your guide option.

  1. On your guide, click on  Add Box.
  2. Select the tab Resuse Existing Box.
  3. Select the Guide pull-down menu and choose Toolbox for Commonly Used Boxes by David Roth.
    • The easiest way to select this guide is to begin typing "toolbox" into the pull-down menu search box.
  4. Select the box that you would like to add to your guide.
  5. You may rename the box but do not check the box for copy.
  6. Click on Save and the box will be added to your guide.

Reusing a widget on your guide

By choosing the reuse a widget option, you will be able to add any additional content into the box on your guide.

  1. On your guide, click on  Add Box.
  2. Choose the Create New Box option and name the box. To add widets from the Toolbox, you can choose either the Standard or Tabbed box type option. Click Save when you are ready to create the box.
  3. Click on the Add / Reorder pull down menu and select Media / Widget.
  4. Select the Reuse Existing Widget tab. 
  5. Type in the name of the widget that you would like to add to your guide.
    • All widgets on this guide share the same name as the box that they are in. So, if you would like to use the Worldcat search box with the Mountaineer, you would type Worldcat Discovery - Search the Library into the Search for Media / Widget bar.
  6. Once you have selected the widget, click Save.
