Finding Journal Articles with EbscoHost

EbscoHost is a database of newspaper, magazine, and journal articles, many full-text.

Choose MLA International Bibliography and use the following limiters.

Use Advanced Search for greater control over your search terms.
Choose the Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals box to retrieve peer-reviewed articles.
You can also limit to Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals on the left-hand menu. among others.

You can choose other databases, but be sure to limit to Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) journals.

Literature, language, linguistics, folklore references from the Modern Language Association. Includes references to journal articles, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies. Although full text is not included in the MLA Bibliography, the Find it @ WVU service provides links to full text from other databases when available.

ProjectMuse has full-text scholarly articles from many journals in the humanities.

Choose your Content Type
On the results page, click Only Content I Have Full Access To box.
Narrow results by choosing the appropriate Research Area on the left-hand side of screen.

JSTOR has full-text scholarly articles from journals in many disciplines.

You can restrict By Discipline: Language and Linguistics and Literature are some suggested choices.
