Books by Subject Heading in MountainLynx

Search for books and other materials using the search box on the Libraries' home page.  

Books about chemistry have call numbers beginning with QD from the Library of Congress Classification System and are located on the the 6th floor of the Downtown Campus Library and on the lower level of the Evansdale Library.  

To browse the books in a specific topic area of chemistry, consult this list of Library of Congress call numbers indexed by topic.

    Get Books from Another Library

    Use E-ZBorrow to get books quickly from a consortium of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia libraries called PALCI. The loan period is four weeks as is the renewal. You may request textbooks.

    Use interlibrary loan (the software is called Illiad) to get books and articles from other libraries. Sign on with your MyID.  One time only, you will have to complete a brief form.

    Search content inside books using Google Books and find the book locally by clicking on Find in a library in the left frame of a book record.
