Mathematics Resources: Books

This guide brings together many library resources used in research in mathematics

Find Books

Note the call number.  You will find some books in the catalog which are electronic.  You can read them on a computer or mobile device.

Most mathematics books are in the QAs in the Library of Congress Classification System on the 6th floor of the Downtown Campus Library or in the Evansdale Library.

Get Books not @ WVU

Use E-ZBorrow to get books quickly from a group of Pennsylvania libraries called PALCI. The loan period is four weeks as is the renewal. You may request text books. Since subject searching is too slow, do title searches only.

Use interlibrary loan (the software is called Illiad) to get books and articles from other libraries.  Click on First Time Users to set up an account.  Remember your password.  It's one you have created.

Electronic Book Collections

In addition to print books, the WVU Libraries provide access to electronic books. Here are some of the collections.
