Collection Basics

Researchers use the print collection and online resources to conduct their own grant searches.

Librarians are available to provide direction and assistance.

Non-WVU individuals may obtain a password by registering at the Research Services Desk on the first floor.


Foundation Center

The WVU Downtown Campus Library is a Funding Information Network partner of the Foundation Center. As a partner of this nationwide network, the Library provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and online research tools to locate grants and funding opportunities.

Public Workshops

Foundation Funding for Your Non-Profit: A workshop for the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia will offer free hands-on training in grant-seeking and grant-writing.  Learn to conduct research on potential funders for your nonprofit organization and the basics of writing a winning proposal.

When: Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm

Where: Room 136, WVU Downtown Campus Library, 1549 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV

Directions and Parking:  Saturday parking is free on the upper level of the Mountainlair parking garage.
