Kelly Doyle is the Wikipedian in Residence for Gender Equity at WVU Libraries. This position focuses on closing the considerable gender gap on Wikipedia English, where more than 90% of the editors are male. In an effort to combat this statistic, Doyle works to increase both the content about women and female editors on Wikipedia by hosting editing events as well as advocating for the use of Wikipedia by young women and academics alike.
