Reusing Commonly Used Assets in Your Guide

  1. Click on Add Box in either the navigation column or body column
  2. Choose the Create New Box option and name the box. To add widgets from the Toolbox, you can choose either the Standard or Tabbed box type option. Click Save when you are ready to create the box.
  3. Click on the Add / Reorder and select Media / Widget.
  4. Select the Reuse Existing Widget tab.
  5. Type in the name of the widget name that you would like to add to your guide. If you are unsure of the name, refer to the widgets catalog and corresponding ID number [link]. search widget
  6. Select the widget
  7. Once you have selected where you want to insert the widget (position), click Save.

Do not make a copy of an existing widget. Mapping to the original resource helps to avoid redundancy and maintain widget standardization. If you need to make a substantial change to the widget for your own purposes, consider creating a separate widget [Create a New Widget].
